 This eighth theatre tour to England, led by Dr Michael Booth, combines theatre-going with sightseeing in an unhurried, relaxed way as we travel on our private coach. The tour includes nine performances in Stratford-upon-Avon, Derby, Leicester, Cambridge, and London, with plenty of time for private sightseeing, shopping, and visits to museums and art galleries.The plays will be a mixture of modern drama and the classics, including Shakespeare. A complete selection of plays can only be determined near the start of the orientation course, since most English theatres do not announce their repertory much in advance. However, play titles will be circulated as early as possible. Group discussions of every play seen will be held at appropriate times throughout the tour.
Accommodation is in three-star hotels or better, and a full breakfast is included daily. A bus and tube pass will be provided for the three days in London. Please note that the tour does include some walking, as well as climbing stairs in theatres. You must also be prepared to handle your own luggage should porterage not be available at some hotels. 
Tour Includes: Tuition; orientation course; academic resource; return airfare; accommodation; meals as indicated in itinerary (B= Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner); domestic flights, where applicable; air-conditioned, comfortable land transportation; all admissions and tours as specified in the itinerary; baggage handling where available; gratuities to guides and bus driver(s)
Not Included: Passport fees; luggage, cancellation, medical and personal insurance; meals except those listed in the itinerary; departure taxes, if applicable; wines, liquors and other beverages; laundry and personal services.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required with the application form.
Travel Insurance: Accident, health, luggage and cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. Application forms will be mailed to you prior to the final payment date.
Cancellation: A cancellation fee of $300 per person will apply up to final payment date. In the case of illness, upon receipt of a physician’s note, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.
Additional Comments: A seven-session orientation course will be held on Wednesdays, August 3 to September 14 from 7 to 9 pm. The total tour cost includes the $1,300 + $156 HST tuition fee.
